Kenyan premier league giants, Gor Mahia FC, is set announce the signing of 24_year_old Cameroonian holding Midfielder, Konfor Bertrand Ngafei.
The 1.80m tall Midfielder, who weighs 76kg, spend last season with Al Mudhabi club in Oman, but will now continue his football journey with record Kenyan premier league winners, Gor Mahia FC. Sources in Kenya say both parties have agreed on a two years deal, to bring the Cameroonian to the City Stadium.
The former National Polytechnic Midfielder, who can also operate as a central defender, has much experience gathered through his time with a series of club’s in Cameroon and abroad. Before his move to the City Stadium, Nairobi, Konfor Bertrand had spend the last three years in Oman, in the Middle East, where he represented Ahli Sidab club, Jalan Club and Al Mudhabi club.
In Cameroon, he has had spells with Rainbow FC of Bamenda, Union Sportif of Douala, Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda, National Polytechnic and Racing Club of Bafoussam.
Kick442.com understands that Bertrand is one of the four high profile signings arriving the Kenyan giants this week, alongside 24_year_old Ugandan, Tito Okello from Vipers, Jules Ulimwengu from Shaanxi AC and 19_year_old Malawan Andrew Numero from South African club, Warriors FC. These four players are expected to be unveiled to the public next week.
According to www.kahawatungu.com, the Gor Mahia has witnessed an Exodus of players in the past weeks, with Harambee Stars defender Joash Onyango, who crossed over to Simba SC of Tanzania, while Striker Boniface Omondi and keeper Frederick Odhiambo, are linked with a move to fellow Kenyan premier league rivals, Wazito FC.
