Host Egypt came from behind twice to beat Ghana’s Black Meteors 3-2 at the Cairo International Stadium after a spectacular second half display.

The Pharoahs become the first nation to book a spot for the semi final.

Terrible goalkeeping from Ghana’s
Kwame Baah as enabled Egypt complete a remarkable comeback from 2-1 down to beat Black Meteors 3-2.

Egypt trailed as early as the 6th minute when Yaw Yeboah gave the debutants the opener.

Their lead was short-lived as Mostafa Mohammed leveled from a 17th minute goal to give Egypt hope.

Ghana gathered momentum and regained control of the game when Samuel Gyabaa netted in barely a minute after the break.

Egypt were almost undone but responded with Ramadan Sobhi’s 82nd minute equalizer before Ahmed Yasser scored a late goal ( 88th minute) to put the host in front for the first time in the game and sealed a much cherished win.

Egypt regain group A leadership with two consecutive group wins.

They face second placed Cameroon on Thursday in their last group game.

Ramadan Sobhi was named man of the match.
