The president of the Djibouti Football Federation, Souleiman Hassan Waberi has officialize the arrival of Sarah M’barek as coach of the female national football team.

During the contract signing ceremony which took place at the national technical centre in Djibouti, it was disclosed that, coach Sarah M’barek will also be in charge of all other categories of the female selection.

Sarah M’barek is a former French international footballer who was named coach of her former club Montpellier Hérault SC in June 2007. She won 21 appearances for the French national team.

At the end if the 2009/2010 where she had a spell in the champions league, she extended her contract with Montpellier. With the club, she is Division one vice champions in 2009.

She brings a lot of experience in women football to Djibouti. Prior to her appointment as coach of Djibouti female national team, she was coach of Guingamp.
