23 year old Cameroonian center back Yvan Ndiessi has told that he preferred a switch to Bamboutos FC in a multiple choice situation because the club presented a better football project to him.

Speaking after his first training session on Monday following his switch to the club on deadline day the former Union Sportive of Douala who left USD mid last season said he felt convinced by Bamboutos FC officials because of the club’s attractive road map which can help him win titles and also develop into a national team player.

Yvan Ndiessi signed a 1 season contract at Bamboutos FC and is expected to either complete or compete with the likes of Rostand Moukap and Ngombe Etame for a spot in the starting XI over the course of next season.

The club showed a lot of interest in me and a good project with a good group of players and a chance to work with a great coach, that convinced me to join the club”. Djiessi told

Djiessi maybe be new to the club but he is not a stranger to the championship having represented Racing Baffousam, Fovu of Baham and Union Sportive of Douala in the division.

“I am convinced that working with these group of players can help me develop and help us challenge for honours” Djiessi added

Bamboutos FC of Mbouda under newly appointed coach Laurent George Djam and champion of the league in 2019 is looking very energetic ahead of the new football season.

The club hasn’t only brought on board an experienced title winner, they have recruited 14 good new players amongst which is Yvan Djiessi.
