Two times African Champions, the Volleyball Lionesses of Cameroon are currently in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where they are fine tuning tactics ahead of an intercontinental qualifying tournament for the 2020 Olympics.
The qualifying tournament will take place from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of August, with Cameroon lodged in group D and is schedule to play host Brazil, Azerbaijan and the Dominican Republic. Christelle Nana and Co enters the competition on August 1st, against Brazil, and will play the Dominican Republic on August 2nd, before ending against Azerbaijan on August 3rd.

Jean Rene Akono and his girls are just fresh from winning their second continental crown in the just ended African Women’s volleyball Championship in Egypt, and will be attempting to grab a ticket for the 2020 Olympics, slated for Tokyo.
24 teams will take part in the tournament, where the top six teams will qualify for the 2020 Olympic volleyball tournament.
The 24 teams qualified for the competition as the top 24 teams of
FIVB World Rankings on 1 January 2019, except Japan who qualified as host.
