PWD social club of Bamenda has completed the signing of forward, Franck Albert Balla Atangana on a one and a half year deal.

The 22_year_old striker is PWD’s third signing of the January transfer window, after they had previously brought in defender Basile Yankam and forward Pedro Nguen.

Franck Albert Balla Atangana has played for a series of Cameroonian clubs, with the latest being Stade Renard of Melong. He has also represented the colours of AS Fortuna and Eding Sports of the Lekie and has had a stint with Renaissance of Ngoumou. His move to Bamenda, will see him reunite with David Pagou, with whom he worked together at Eding sports.

David Pagou and his boys are currently second on the Cameroon league one classification table with 29 points, six points shy of leaders Cotonsport. The arrival of Franck Albert Balla Atangana will certainty add more firepower to PWD’s attack, which has notched in 24 goals in 17 matches this far.

The new recruit is already training with the team in their base in Bamenda, and fans of the Abakwa boys will have the opportunity to make their first impression of him, when PWD takes on YOSA and Foncha Street FC, in separate friendly games at the Big Mankon field, on Saturday January 25, 2020.
