PWD social club of Bamenda will this Thursday October 17, take on newly promoted league two side, FONCHA STREET FC, in a friendly game.

The match is scheduled as from 3pm at the Big Mankon field in Bamenda, and will be the third friendly game for PWD. Their last two friendlies were against YOSA, where they won one and drew one. FONCHA street on their part shared the spoils with YOSA, earlier on.

The friendly game comes just one day before the kick off of the Cameroon league one championship, where the fate of the Abakwa boys is not yet clear, as the verdict is yet to be pronounced on their case against Astres. Should the case eventually favours PWD, they will play AS Fortuna in their first game, and should it go against them, they will take on OFTA of Kribi on October 26.

For FONCHA Street FC, their league two debut will be against Dynamo FC of Douala, as coach Anumewa Frankline and his boys looks to build on their solid form of last season.

Coach David Pagou and Anumewa, will use Thursdays friendly, to do the finishing touches on their respective squads.
