Patrick Anaba Metogo and Joël Owono have both signed for Cameroon League one side, Tonnere Kalaran Club, TKC can confirm.

The five-year Elite one champions, who had a hapless campaign during the abandoned 2019/2020 season have been active in the transfer market with over a score of players already acquired.

Patrick Anaba Metogo has previously been on the books of league one rivals, Canon Yaoundé and has also had spells with several league one outfits. He has amased experience with the country’s domestic league which makes him a huge asset for TKC.

Joël Owono on his side helped his former club, AS Fortuna to a 14th place finish in the 2019/2020 top flight championship. The midfielder will team up with Obono Mengue of second tier club FAP Yaoundé who has also gained favour from the club’s manager.

TKC finished among the button three clubs of the league one with 32 points in 28 games. They ended 17th of an 18 league format and probably would have been relegated if the championship had to go through.P

The five time Cameroon Cup winners are among the most successful clubs in the country and Africa, although their stock has fallen over the years.

The Yaoundé based outfit is poised to work toward an excellent season this year and secure their top flight status.

According to, the Blacks and Whites have signed twelve new players. A majority it these players have been signed from amateur league sides.
