Cameroon’s league two clubs have received 30 million FCFA from the Transitional Technical committee running the affairs of the league, as subventions to help them better prepare for the upcoming football season.

This was during a ceremony that took place this Wednesday, at the FA’s head office in Tsinga, Yaoundé. The pre_season aid to the 15 league two clubs, comes exactly 16 days to the date (October 18), set aside by the Transitional Technical Committee, for the start of the new football season.

The occasion was chaired by FECAFOOT’s president, Seidou Mbombo Njoya, together with the president of the Technical Transitional committee, Aboubakar Alim Konate, and committee Member Pascal Abunde.

The Symbolic cheque of 30 Million FCFA was handed to the club presidents and representatives present, while the various league two clubs will make rounds at FECAFOOT to collect their own share of the subvention. (2 million FCFA) per club.

This comes exactly 13 days after League one clubs took part in a similar exercise, where the sum of 72 million FCFA was handed to them.

President Seidou Mbombo Njoya called on the various club heads, to show solidarity, and work hand in hand with the Technical Transitional committee, for this new beginning in the Cameroon football league.

On his part, Aboubakar Alim Konate saluted all the club presidents and representatives present, stating that their present signifies the interest the have for Cameroon football.

The total amount the Technical Transitional committee has handed to league one and two clubs to prepare for the upcoming football season, stands at 102 Million FCFA.
