18_year_old PWD’s Midfield metronome, Nchindo John Bosco, has joined the rest of the squad in Yaoundé.
The Abakwa Boys returned to the country on Monday Evening from Equatorial Guinea, where they played a zero all tie with Futuro Kings of Mongomo in an international friendly at the Estadio de Malabo on Sunday.
One of the team’s standout performer in their title winning campaign, Nchindo John Bosco, did not make the trip to Equatorial Guinea, due to an injury, but has now recovered and team up with the rest of the squad in Yaoundé.
The Abakwa Boys arrived Yaoundé late on Tuesday night and are currently lodging at the FECAFOOT technical center in odza, where they will continue fine tuning preparations for the upcoming football season.
Also spotted in camp this morning, were youngsters, Chem Herbert, and Adamou. John Paul Nzon Ngong, Anslem and the others are also expected in camp today.
Coach David Pagou and his boys will hold a training session this afternoon at the FECAFOOT technical center in odza. The team will play APEJES of mfou on Saturday in a preseason tournament (Tournoi de Solidarité), before facing South Sudan on October 07, in another friendly scheduled to take place at the Yaoundé Omnisport Stadium.
The Abakwa Boys have been out on a preseason tour which have seen them spend one week in Limbe, three days in Equatorial Guinea, and will likely spend close to two weeks in Yaoundé.
