Stade FC of Bertoua and Kohi Club of Maroua have played a 1#1 tie in the third match of the 2019 National interpools ongoing in Bertoua.
The two sides had a balance first quarter of the game, which each sides having opportunities to go in front, but all chances were wasted.
The home crowd at the Bertoua municipal Stadium gave Stade FC of Bertoua more reasons to believe and at the 17 minute of play, Alex Benjamin Louke put Stade Bertoua one goal up, slotting a low shot pass Goalkeeper Yaya Ousman of Kohi.
The home side will then dominate majority of the first segment, with Kohi needing the vigilance of Goalkeeper Yaya Ousman, to prevent Stade FC from increasing tally.
Kohi had the opportunity later on to put the game on a parity, with a free kick that hit the woodworks, after Goalkeeper Narcisse Ekoundou went the wrong direction.
Patrick Claude Saffe almost added the second for Stade FC Bertoua at the stroke of half time, but his shot was palmed to the woodworks, by Goalkeeper Yaya Ousman. At half time, it was 1#0 advantage Stade FC of Bertoua.
SECOND HALF
Kohi looked more impressive with Bouhari Bachirou charging in from the left, as the pill pressure on Stade FC’s back four.
Coach Lassidang Ndoe Valentin of Stade FC effected his first substitution at the 54th, bringing on Donald Wilfrid Assoh in the place of Yannick Claude Meyeng.
At the 59th minute, Ousmanou Hamadou negotiated a quick piece of counter attacking for Kohi, and looped the ball pass Goalkeeper Narcisse Ekoundou to put the game 1#1. Coach Ousmanou Bashirou of Kohi club then proceeded with a quick substitution, replacing Alioum Yaya with Anatole Realoum.
All attempts by Stade FC to increase tally, were nullified by a water locked Kohi defense. When center referee Ngah willy blasted the final whistle, the scoreboard read Stade FC of Bertoua 1#1 Kohi club of Maroua.
