Former Union de Mouvement Sportive of Loum and Feutcheu coach, Guy Bertin Dniepnang has been appointed head coach of Cameroon league one side AS Fortuna,with instructions to maintain the team in the league one Championship.

As first reported by, Guy Bertin Dniepnang signed a contract that will run till the end of the season. He is coming in at a time when the championship is just 10 playing days to the end.

Before his appointment, Fortuna was in the hands of coaching duo, Noufessi Sauze and Ndedi Ebang, who could not get necessary results, as expected by the club’s president, Roger Noah.

Coming in as a fire fighter, Guy Bertin Dniepnang’s first mission with the center regional outfit, will be an away game against his former employers, UMS of Loum.

AS Fortuna is currently rock bottom on the league’s table with just 24 points recorded from 24 games.

The gaffer will have to bring all the experience he has gathered throughout his time with a series of top flight clubs like UMS, Feutcheu, YAFOOT amongst others.
