The president of Cameroon league one club AS Fortuna, Roger Minala, has been suspended from football related activities for a period of 30 days.
The disciplinary Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation, has provisionally suspended the of AS Fortuna for a period of 30 days, for reportedly slapping a player of Union de Mouvement sportive of Loum, during a day 25 game of the Cameroonleague one championship at the Loum Municipal stadium on Marc 01, 2020.
After a social media video that showed Roger Minala slapping UMS’ player Tombi Alemi after his sides 2#2 away draw, FECAFOOT’s president, Seidou Mbombo Njoya, ordered for an investigation into the matter.
According to FECAFOOT’s disciplinary Committee, the report of the match commissioner of that game indicate that the encounter was perturbed on several occasions by Roger Minala, also citing his incident with Tombi Alemi. The said commission therefore bands Roger Minala commonly known as Roger Noah for a period of 30 days, with a possiblity of the sanction to be extended.
The decision signed by the president of the homologation and disciplinary Committee, Ntube Nzubepie, was made public this Tuesday March 10, 2020, and will be implemented with immediate effect.
Roger Minala’s AS Fortuna is currently battling relegation in the cameroon top tier championship.
