Since Foncha Street FC regained its place in Cameroon’s elite two championship, there have been a lot of background works to give the team a new facelift.
One of the remarkable changes is the return of one-time Vice President, Fuh Patrick Awah who comes back into the team as Executive President. He is charged with implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors.
Asked about what motivated his return to the team, Fuh Patrick disclosed that, the new ideas of the president general to completely change from the top and his vision for the team after two years of poor results.
Since he returned to the team, he has held several meetings with the Board of Directors explaining what he believes should be done to succeed.
“You can see we have brought in former players and football lovers to join the staff so that we can get the best available players and build a team that will be able to defend our ambitions. We have just one plan this season and that is to promote this team to elite one”, Fuh Patrick told kick442.com
To the fans/supporters of the team, Fuh Patrick highlighted that the team is now being run by a board of directors and places are open on the board for those capable of investing in the team to join while calling on the fans to rally behind the team.
“I am inviting all the fans to support their team because Foncha Street FC is back. Everything is already in place to make us achieve our goals”, he concluded.
Foncha Street FC recently unveiled coach Soh Simplis and Ngeh Carlos as their coaches of the new football season.
The team has resumed training and they train twice daily. At 7:00 am at the Parcours Vita and 2:00 pm at the Saint Paul School field.
