Board members of Cameroon’s elite two club, Foncha Street Football Club of Bamenda have set the priorities of the club ahead of the new football season.
Meeting recently in their first board meeting that was held recently at the club’s headquarters in Bamenda, the board members unanimously adopted the executive bureau of the club and the technical staff that was appointed some weeks back.
Mr. Mohtangongho David remained as president of the executive bureau while Patrick Fru Awah returned to the board as Vice President.
Meanwhile, Murum A Baasa Divine is the Secretary-General, Nsah Emmanuel is Treasurer, Nji Nelson Chefor maintained his position as Communications Officer, Sylvanus Nsafon is the Sports Director while Ngu Yannick Che is the adviser.
The executive bureau of the club was charged with the responsibility of ensuring that Foncha Street FC be registered properly to meet up with the professional standard of the league.
The board members adopted a provisional three months budget which stood at 13.376.000 with the 4.070.000 raised at the meeting by the members to start up the activities of the club.
While expressing happiness that the team was maintained in the elite two championship, the Executive President, Mr. Mohtangongho David beckoned on all to play their role accurately for the team to perform better than past seasons and fight for a place in the elite one championship.
Before adopting the 30 players signed by the team, the board members agreed that the players and staff will be presented to the public during a fundraising ceremony to be organized before the start of the season.
Foncha Street FC has a total of 30 players to fly the colors of the team during the 2021/2022 football season. The team has also secured the services of coach Soh Simplis and Ngeh Carlos to guide the lads.
