Feminine football in Cameroon will in the days ahead witness a new perspective with the creation and appointment of officials to manage the activities of the Cameroon Feminine Football league.

The appointment was made public Wednesday September 4th, 2019. In the communique signed by FECAFOOT president, Seidou Mbombo Njoya, the individuals appointed will coordinate the activities of the Feminine football league for a transitional period of two years.

The members appointed are;
– President: Mme Eko Mendomo Celine
– Vice President: Mme Yvonne Asta

– Mme Ufei Nseke Anoma
– Mme Sonkin Née Awoun Nkeing Rachel
– Mme Mouaha épouse Dikongo Marthe.

Thé mandate of the officials begins on September 4th 2019 and will end in September 3rf 2021.

The newly created league will focus on women’s football in Cameroon and ensure the running of activities and organising competitions.

The members therefore have a daunting task to make the women’s league in Cameroon more attractive especially at a time when the Confederation of African Football, CAF, has envisaged the creation of the female version of the CAF champions league.
