The president of the Njalla Quan sports Academy, Henri Njalla Quan Junior, has been elected president of the South West regional bureau of FECAFOOT.
This follows Regional elections that took place over the 10 regions of the country this Monday.
Njalla Quan Junior defeated incumbent president, Thomas Ndive by 17 votes to 15, in a highly contested elections. Njalla Quan’s New dawn will now run football affairs in the South West region for the next four years.
The young dynamic club president is taking over power at a time when the south west region is in dire need of an Elite club. He will be accompanied in his mission to revamp football in the south west region, buy Valery Ndazeh, who was elected vice president, with honorable Fritz Ngeka Etoke, voted second vice president.
The newly elected president has called on all the actors in south west football, to bury their difference, and get to work.
“Dear football Lovers, at last it is all over. Our joint actions of resilience, determination and courage has paid off. The victory is ours and we have clearly proven that we deserve it. However, it is incumbent on us now to bury all our differences and rather unite from Fako, Manyu, Ndian, kupe Mwanenguba and Libialem, given that the task ahead of us is herculean.”, Njalla Quan Junior said shortly after the elections.
Apart from the president and his vices, delegates to represent the region during the national elections on December 11, were also elected.
