Newly appointed head coach of PWD of Bamenda, David Pagou, has supervised his first training session, since he took over command of the team.
Pagou arrived Bamenda earlier this Tuesday, and went to work immediately, with a training session at the Big Mankon field.
More than 40 players showed up for the first session, amongst which are new comers and old players who were part of the squad last season. It was the first time Pagou was meeting his players.
Kick442.com understands the group of players will be reduced in the days ahead, when a final list of players retained for the 2019_2020 season, will be made public.
Notable absences in today’s training session, was goalkeeper Julius Atengong who has joined Colombe of the Dja and Lobo, and Tengang Noel Rodrigue, who has been released by the Club. Fai Gilead and Louiz Enoh, also moved abroad, at the end of last season.
Coach David Pagou was given a five star welcome by the fans of the Abakwa boys, as they look forward to seeing him take their dealing club, to challenging with some of the countries top sides.
