After two consecutive defeats, Rangers FC Bafut has returned to winning ways in the elite two championship.
The team from the North West region of Cameroon, outplayed Unisport of Bafang by three goals to nil in Bambili, Bamenda on matchday six.
All three goals of the match were scored in the first half.
Attacker Katche Boris opened the scores for Rangers FC Bafut in the 8th minute of the match.
Efforts from Unisport of Bafang to level scores were well dealt with by Mungala Silus and his teammates.
The pressure on the Rangers FC defense line by Unisports allowed Rangers to build up play with a counter attack.
At the 20th minute of the match, striker Ndiforchu Blaise doubled the scores for Rangers FC Bafut.
The second goal gave Rangers a good lead. However, they took a three-goal lead into the halftime thanks to a double from Kache Boris.
Upon resumption of the second half, Unisport struggled to get back into the match but all attempts from them were futile. At the blast of the final whistle, Rangers FC recorded their first win in three matches in the elite two championship.
In the other matchday 6 matches programmed for this Wednesday, May 18, 2022, Aigle of Dschang lost against Ngaoundere FC by 2 goals to 3.
Leopard of Douala defeated AS FAP of Yaoundé 2#1, in the other game.
