The match between Yong Sports Academic of Bamenda, YOSA and Tonerre Kalara Club, TKC did not go on as planned Sunday March 7, 2021.
The match didn’t take place because players and officials of TKC failed to present results of their Covid-19 test.
This information is further confirmed by YOSA media unit.
“Unfortunately YOSA’s game against TKC didn’t play as the latter failed to present the results of the Covid-19 test of players”, the statement from YOSA’s Media Unit said.
According to the rules and regulations of the championship amidst the Covid-19 adopted by the clubs and FECAFOOT, players and team officials are supposed to do a Covid-19 test 48 hours before a match. Something that was not respected by Tonerre Kalara Club.
It is now left to see if the three points will be awarded to YOSA or the match will be reprogram to another date.
YOSA travels to Garoua on match day two where they will play against Coton Sport.
