Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda have humiliated Dragon of Yaounde in one of day 16 matches of the Cameroon League One championship.

FIRST HALF

Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda dominated the first quarter of match as they created numerous scoring opportunities which were all squandered.

At the 2nd and 5th minute of play, Moundi Kagawa and Tongua Armel Emmanuel Regis came close to scoring but their shot was saved by goalkeeper Yindui Amido Mohammed.

It took Dragon of Yaounde till the 20th minute for them to have a sight at goal but Alexandre Soppo’s free kick was nothing to worry about for goalkeeper Chia Gareth.

Dragon of then gained control of the game as they dominated the midfield area with YOSA forced to result in counter attacks.

In one of their counter attacking moves, Moundi Kagawa found the on rushing Ngong Neville, whose shot hit the woodwork and the resulting attempt from Tongua Armel Emmanuel Regis saved by goalkeeper Yindui Amido Mohammed.

Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda will come close to scoring again at the 39th minute of play. Tongua Armel Emmanuel Regis came one on one with goalkeeper Yindui Amido Mohammed and decided to play with Bahaza Go-ah but his shot went off target to the disappointment of the YOSA supporters.

HALF TIME

SECOND HALF

YOSA started the second half just as they ended the first.
Two minutes into the second half, Abanke Eric picked up the ball in the 18metres box of Dragon and powered home a shot to give YOSA the lead.
Three minutes later, Tongua Armel Emmanuel Regis in a solo move from the midfield area went unperturbed and scored the second goal for YOSA.
The domination of YOSA forced Dragon to concede a penalty, missed by Moundi Kagawa.
At the 59th minute of play, Tongua Armel Emmanuel Regis would benefit from a goalkeeping error to score his second goal of the match.

YOSA continued it’s domination of the match and another goalkeeper error would hand Tongua Armel Emmanuel Regis his third goal of the match and the fourth goal for YOSA.

The four goals advantage made the YOSA defense line to go to sleep as Dragon of Yaounde created three consecutive scoring opportunities which were saved by Chia Gareth.

At the 74th minute of play, Junior Yvan Dibango came one on one with goalkeeper Chia Gareth and reduced scores for Dragon.

With Dragon of Yaounde concentrating on attacking, YOSA’s Ngong Neville in a counter attacking move would beat goalkeeper Yindui Amido Mohammed to make it 5#1 for YOSA.
