PWD of Bamenda have beaten Union Sportive of Douala 1#0 in One of several day 11 matches of the Cameroon league one championship.

Union Sportive of Douala started the match on a good footing as they recorded the first shot on target from kick off when Nlend Samuel’s shot troubled goalkeeper Rodrigue Zame.

Ghislain Tony Abega had two clear scoring chances to give the Nassara Kamakai the lead but he rather squandered all to the dissatisfaction of his teammates.

Union Sportive dominated the first 25 minutes of the game but failed to concretise any.
At the 27th minute of play, PWD had their first meaningful attack of the game when Njang Romeo picked up control of the ball and delivered a cross towards Boyomo Leon whose shot went pass goalkeeper Serge Diguel.

Boyomo Leon and Ahudu Lukong Fonyuy then troubled the defense of Union Sportive with Serge Diguel stopping Boyomo Leon on two different occasions to keep Union in the match. The first half ended 1#0 in favour of PWD of Bamenda.

PWD started the second half by switching to a 4-3-3 formation with Nchindo John Bosco coming in for Malachi Nfor Che.

Union Sportive of Douala would then multiply attacking options and would even have a goal disallowed.

The coming in of Nchindo John Bosco added more prowess to PWD’s as Boyomo Leon would have two goals disallowed for offside.
