🇨🇲Cameroon League One: PWD and Bamboutos share spoils in the grassfield derby.

PWD Social Club of Bamenda has been held to a virgin all tie at home by Bamboutos FC of Mbouda in the grassfield derby. The Abakwa Boys went into the match missing four first team (Louis Enjoinei Mbah, Divine Ngi Mbeh, John Paul Nzo Ngong and Neloh Kelvin) while Bamboutos FC kept Yves Gaelle Eroume, Aimé Gerard Mangolo and Rene Ndi on the bench.
Both teams used the first 15 minutes of the m atch to observe each other with no meaningful goal scoring opportunities created. Malachi Nfor Che was the closest with a shot at the 16th minutes of play that went off target.
Two minutes later, Bamboutos FC had two scoring opportunities which were all squandered by Chevalier Pierre Victor and Hansi Muller Mbappe.
The first half of the game was characterised by inaccurate passes from both teams as coach David Pagou was forced to take off Mienolf Chi Ade and brought in Edet Ndifon Kenneth in a tactical change.
The second half of the match started just like the first half.
Bamboutos FC came close to opening scores at the 57th minute when Burinyuy Derick misjudged clearance went straight to Hansi Muller Mbappe but his shot was saved by goalkeeper Rodrigue Zame.
Ahudu Lukong Fonyuy would then have two clear cut scoring opportunities but his efforts went off target.
At the last minute of the game, Hansi Muller Mbappe went down inside the 18metres box but the referee waved away the penalty shout.
At the blast of the final whistle, players and some team officials confronted the referee and his assistants. It took the intervention of security officials for the match officials to leave the field.
