Coach Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso has lead Cotonsport to large victories over two Northwest clubs, just six playing days into the 2019/2020 league one championship. Cotonsport defeated Yong Sports Academy 6#1 on day two of the championship, before recently humiliating PWD 5#nil.
The Garoua based club therefore boss an 11#1 aggregate score over PWD and YOSA joined together. The current coach of Cotonsport, Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso, is former trainer of Yong Sports Academy, during which he closed to a decade in Bamenda, and seems to have a mastery of how the two English sides play.
“I know my people of Northwest. I lived there for about eight years, so I know how they play. But this does not mean that that I know all the teams of Northwest”, said Ndoumbe Bosso.
The tactician suggests PWD was just a victim of a goal tasty Cotonsport. ” what we are doing now is correcting the mistakes of the last matches and unfortunately for PWD they came at that moment and we did it with also”.
“Winning a team like PWD 5#0 is not easy. I have to congratulate the players because they are the once who did the job we asked them to do”.
Cotonsport now sits top of the league’s table with 14 points, and next travel down south, to play Union sportive of Douala. In the same fixture last year, Union edged Cotonsport, and the cotonites now are preparing for a sort of revenge, but Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso says the game is going to be psychological.
” we are going to prepare more psychologically than physically because we know it is going to be a very tough match”.
Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso is in his first full season with the 15 time league winners, after he took over mid last year from Bertin Ebwelle. He is targeting silver wear with the cotonites this year, after they failed to grab any last season.
