FIRST HALF

Patrick Ngono will then switch to the right flank, and gave Mercure’s back four all sorts of troubles. Foudre should have taken the lead at the 35th minute, but Mercure had Loic Cedric Tesong to thank, as his sliding tackle thwarted away Foudre”s counter attack.

Mercure responded with a sharp move at the 38th minute, and Roussel Falang picked out Fabrice Angoula with a near perfect cross, but he could not direct his kick on target.

SECOND HALF

At the 51st minute of the game, Yves Donald Effa got the first booking, following a nasty challenge on Albert Franklin Mandakoa. Mercure’s Loic Cedric Tesong also got into the referee’s books at the 57 minute, for a similar reason.

Coach Abalentsena Sean Raphael proceeded with two substitutions, bringing in Jacob Dempino and Ibrahim Mpondo, in the place of Housseni Housseni and Loic Cedric Tesong respectively.
