The head coach of German Bundesliga side side Borussia Dortmund, Lucien Favre, has expressed his desire to see 15_year_old Cameroon born forward, Youssoufa Moukoko integrate his sides first team.
As reported by Goal.com, Dortmund is ready to welcome Moukoko into their first team squad. Youssoufa Moukoko has been in blistering form for Dortmund’s youths teams, scoring 50 goals and nine assist in 28 games for the Under 17s and 31 goals in 18 league games for the Under 19s. His performance has caught the eye of Favre, who has revealed that he wants the services of the 15 year old in his team.
Dortmund is ranked third in the Bundesliga table, and will face Freiburg in a league game on Saturday. Favre is hoping that the youngster can be part of his team before the end of the season.
“We have a plan with him, but I can’t say exactly when he’ll be with us,” said Favre on Thursday. “Maybe in March, but we still have to wait for a few things.”, Favre said via Goal.com.
Should Moukoko integrate Dortmund’s first team, he might form a deathly forward line with the likes of Erling Haaland, and Jadon Sancho.
Moukoko is also highly solicited in the German youth ranks, and might be part of Germany’s Under 19s, in a European championship qualifier against the Wales on March 25.
Moukoko was born in Cameroon, but moved to Germany alongside his father, in 2014.
