The catch up session of the Njalla Quan Sport Academy recruitment test is in its second day of action today. Many of the participants have already left a positive impression following their display on the opening day of the exercise.

As coach Edwin Teteh and Technical director, Kouoh Freddy do their best to pick just the best 20 out of the over 100 hundred participants, they might have already had some few picks following Thursday’s session.

On the other hand, the participants are boozing in confidence, following the warm reception given them by the management of the NQSA and are more than determined to pursue their football dreams at the center.

17_year_old Nsome Wandje is one of the participants who came all the from Douala,in the littoral region. His greatest wish is to be amongst the 20 lucky ones who will be retain in the final cut.

“We were well received here and we are feeling confortable since we arrived. I really hope that my work convinced the trainers because I would really love to stay here, because I know all the qualities present at the Njalla Quan Sport Academy”, the young midfielder told reports.

18_year_old versatile midfielder, Hadengar Germain left man tongues wagging with his beautiful displays both on and off the pitch. In just 30 minutes of an evaluation match they played, he impressed many onlookers with his fine mastery of the game. The lad is hoping the NQSA can help him attain his dreams of becoming a professional footballer.

“You need to have confidence in yourself and be disciplined and do just what the coaches asked from us. I’m looking forward to being at the NQSA, and I hope they will give me the chance and make me the footballer that I have always dreamed to be”

Midway into the three days talent detection exercise in Limbe, a cross section the youngsters feel the NQSA is the place to be, but unfortunately for them, just 20 of them will have the opportunity to benefit from the football scholarship program of the center. However the doors are still opened to those who will not make it into the list, as they can still register as normal students at the center.
