Foncha Street FC of Bamenda has beaten Étoile Filante of Garoua 3#1, in game four of the 2019 National interpools.

Foncha Street FC took an early lead at the seventh minute of the game from the penalty, through Brilant Awahmukala Tanwie, who send Goalkeeper Simon Dourga the wrong way.

The goal wake Étoile Filante from their sleep, as they multiplied several onslaughts in Foncha Street’s camp. But Foncha street looked more lively in the attacking third, with Njibero Durell and Brilant Awahmukala Tanwie.

In a swift individual move at the 41st minute, Brilant Awahmukala, went pass his makers, and Goalkeeper Simon Dourga was helpless as the forward grabbed his second goal of the game.

The boys of coach Anumewa defended the score as the first half ended 2#0 advantage Foncha Street FC.


Coach Alioum Kada Joel effected two substitutions earlier in the second half, bringing on Lazare Wambadang and Souaibou Amadou.

Emmanuel JoJo Bilonga pulled one back for Étoile Filante, but that will not last long, as center Referee Elouga awarded Foncha Street FC a penalty at the 55th, after a hand ball in Étoile Filante’s box. Brilant Awahmukala Tanwie stepped forward and Completed his hat trick.

Coach Anumewa Frankline proceeded to a tactical substitution, taking out hat trick hero, Brilant Awahmukala, and bringing on Menghdze Alain Sifor.

The remainder of the game was more of an end to end contest, with lots of quick moves up front.

Foncha Street’s Jean Claude Liamo was red carded late on, after picking up two bookings, but that did not perturb a comfortable win for Foncha street FC.

The win puts FONCHA top of pool C, with 3 points.
Foncha Street FC will be exempted on match day two, and will only be in action on Saturday, when they take on Mercure SA of Bafia.
