Cameroon league one side, PWD Social Club of Bamenda has appointed David Pagou as their new head coach, ahead of the new Football season.

Kick442.com understands that Pagou has agreed a One season contract with an option to extend for a further year.

David Pagou comes in to replace Augustine Tchoupo, who led PWD in the second half of last season, but the management of the team parted company with him last month. Our sources have disclosed  that PWD quickly turned their attention to Pagou, after negotiations with François Ngoumou collapsed at the last minute, before the later eventually join Dragon.

Before his appointment as lead trainer for the ABAKWA Boys, David Pagou was physical trainer for Eding Sports of the Lekie last term. The gaffer has experience in Cameroon Football, through his time with Renaissance of Ngoumou, Cosmos of Bafia, Canon of yaounde and Apejes of Mfou. He is currently physical trainer of the U20 lions of Cameroon, and is noted for building his teams very physical and hard to beat.

PWD finished in the bottom half of the League’s table last term, and David Pagou has a challenging task of making PWD a contender amongst the elite teams in the country.
