If Universal Soccer Academy FC is gradually becoming a force to reckon with in the North West regional league, then it’s thanks to the coaching prowess of Soh Simplis, popularly know as Pro coachy Marechal.
Barely three years since it’s coming to Bamenda, Soh Simplis has completely revitalize the team and it’s now a title contender in the region.
Speaking to kick442.com recently about the ongoing football season, the CAF Licensed B coach said, it’s too early to talk about the finals but his team will continue to work hard and tackle it match after match.
With regards to his current squad, the coach disclosed that, he has some experience players and a group of young players who have a lot to prove”.
“We started our preparations a little bit late and we went for players who suited our play style” coach Soh Simplis said.
Universal Soccer Academy FC have been dangerous in front of goal this season. They have scored 21 goals in 5 matches. For the coach, it’s thanks to some readjustments made at the offensive compartment which is working very well for them.

As far as the organisation of the North West regional league is concerned this season, coach Soh Simplis had some kind words for the North West FECAFOOT bureau.
“So far it’s not bad but there’s room for improvement and we know the Federation is doing its best for us to have a better league than last season”.
He began his coaching career in 2006 with Yong Sports Academy where he spend two years before joining Metro security lions. He has also been coach of Azob Strikers, Rainbow FC, FC Bamenda, Santos FC, PWD Bamenda, Hilltop Strikers, Tatecam FC and now Universal soccer academy.
