AWA FF has recorded an emphatic 3#0 away win over Vision Sports FC of Bamenda, in a delayed day 14 game of the Cameroon women’s league.

Vision Sports starting XI vs AWA FF

AWA FF had the first opportunity of the game at the 2nd minute of play, when Tantoh Melvis’ free kick was kept out of bay by Goalkeeper Liliane Choumba. AWA’s domination continued throughout out the opening 10 minutes of the game, as Vision Sports struggled to deal with the incursions negotiated by Ngo Boum and Brenda Tabe.

11 minutes on, Yakadam Neolie negotiated a fine move into AWA’s box and only a last ditch interception from Mogai Cecilia, thwarted her effort away.

Continuous pressure from the visiting team, saw a 19 minute left footed drive from Brenda Tabe, that got Goalkeeper Liliane Choumba off guard, after a fine assist from Lombo Rose, to put AWA in front.

Vision Sports FC effected their first substitution before the end of the first segment, as Phalone Kameni ceded her place to Milaine Vanilor, before Akwe Cleris was booked afterward, for a challenge on Mogai Cecilia.

Vision Sports good start to the second half would last just for over 20 minutes, as Tantoh Melvis doubled AWA’s lead at the 65th minutes.

Vision Sports last substitution of the game saw Judith Dzemoyua coming in to take the place of Akwe Cleris.

Lombo Rose saw yellow for a fault on Judith Dzemoyua, before coach Hassan Mballa of AWA brought on Tchomte Kenmoe in the place of Yanen Vanessa.

Tim Shalom’s 80th minute free kick was the closest Vision Sports came in the second half, but her shot went narrowly off Goalkeeper Ongmahan Marthe’s goal post.

Vision Sports finished the game with 10 players, following Mavi Assonfack’s injury.

Vision Sports was caught wanting in front of goal, as captain Marly Confidence squandered several half chances. Much energy, pace and power from Ngo Boum Georgette, saw her putting AWA FF three goals up at the 86th minute, as she benefited from a defensive mix up, to punish Goalkeeper Germaine.
