Eding Football Filles of Yaounde has hammered Renaissance de Figuil 6#1, in a day 14 game of the Cameroon women’s Championship.

Brigitte Yvana Mbomozomo was on target 35 seconds after kick off, to put Eding FF in front, as she scores the fastest goal of the championship this far.

At the third minute of play, Marie Claire Kibinde Kibinde came close to doubling Eding’s lead, but her shot went narrowly wide.

Renaissance of Figuil, in search of their first point of the campaign, showed great fighting spirit, with Chantal Wissenwa receiving the first booking of the game at the 25th minute, following her fault that stopped Marie Claire Kibinde’s goal bound move. Eding’s Valerie Simeu also saw yellow, for a nasty challenge on Raissa Vamou Woudou.

At the half an hour mark, Brahim Balkissou gave Renaissance de Figuil hopes, when she received a well timed pass from Raissa Vamou Woudou, and escaped all the tackles from Eding’s defense, before firing the ball beyond Goalkeeper Laure Jolewo of Eding.

Goalkeeper Flore Laure Mabenga of Renaissance de Figuil made some few decent saves late in the first half, to keep a parity score line at the Break.

Eding came back from the break with much energy and confidence, and at the 56th minute, Brigette Yvana Mbomozomo was on target again, as she headed home from a corner kick, to give Eding the lead, also starting was going to be a goal festival for her side.

Coach Bakinde Ndom Jules of Eding pulled out Valerie Simeu Noubissi and brought in Rene Josephine Tsala. At 60th minute, Marie Claire Kibinde fired Eding’s third goal of game from the penalty spot, after Santis Gysigmole Woche had fault an Eding player in Renaissance box.

Anne Ngono would make it 4#1 for Eding, before Marie Claire Kibinde completed her brace at the 82nd minute. A goal tasty Eding, kept pilling the pressure on Renaissance, until Ruphine Daniella Beyina fired home the sixth goal at the 84th minute, before ceding her place to Esther Michelle Nyangono.

With the win, Eding FF stays fourth with 27 points and a plus 10 goals, while Renaissance women of Figuil is rock bottom with zero point and a minus 50 goals. Renaissance women have failed to pick up a single point in 14 league games this season, with a record 14 defeats in 14 games.

Day 14 games will continue this week, with Vision Sports FC of Bamenda to play AWA FF in Bamenda on Saturday February 15, while Canon FF will take on FC Ebolowa on Sunday.

Coming up this Wednesday in Bamenda, vision Sports FC will play FC Ebolowa in a delayed day 13 game, while another day 13 game pitting AS Diamare against Canon FF, is still to be programmed.
