Amazone FAP of yaounde has beaten Vision sport FC 2#0, in an advanced day 20 game of the Cameroon women’s league. The game took place this Sunday March 15, 2020, at the FECAFOOT Center in Odza.

Vision sport had the first opportunity of the game just 19 seconds into the game, when Milaine Vanilor Leuko’s strike almost beat the vigilance of goalkeeper Marina Ngo Esse.

Vision Sport’s goalkeeper Lauresse Mafogue was almost beaten at the 10 minute of the game, when an effort from Amazone FAP crashed on her cross bar. The reaction from Vision sport was prompt, but the outcome was wanting, as Leuko failed to beat Marina Ngo Esse in a one on one.

At the 15th minute of the game, Goalkeeper Lauresse Mafogue pulled a stunning save to stop Henriette Michele Akaba .

Excellent defending from Mariane Ines and Tim Shalom, plus some excellent saves from Goalkeeper Lauresse Mafogue kept Vision sport alive for over half an hour, but Amazone FAP was also guilty of wayward shooting, with Marie Conchita Patricia and Henriette Michele Akaba all having their own share of the blame.

The curtain raiser came at the 36th minute of play, when Elenane Aimee Bibout’s teasing shot had Goalkeeper Lauresse Mafogue beaten for 1#nil advantage Amazone FAP. Mafogue was called to action almost immediately after, as she prevented Ngah Manga from extending FAP’s lead.

40 minutes on, Indomitable lionesses forward, Henriette Michele Akaba made it 2#nil for Amazone FAP, with an easy finish from the center of the box.

Goalkeeper Marina Ngo Esse stopped two headers from Akwe Cleris, before Vanilor Leuko’s strike rattled the cross bar.

At Half time, it was a two goal advantage for Amazone FAP.



The first substitution for Amazone FAP saw Linda Rostante Ngatchou ceding her place to Rita Wanki Awachwi, while for Vision sport, Alvine Metchum came in for Synthia Mafouo.

A beautiful play beautiful Juliette Tufoin and Leuko at the 60th minute of the game, saw Akwe Cleris’ unleashing a powerful left footed effort that was thwarted away by Goalkeeper Marina Ngo Esse.

Amazone FAP’s forward, Ngah Manga was later booked for simulation.

Julie Nina Nke Nke of Amazone FAP was sub off for Syrielle Mbofewuie, while for Vision sport, Akwe Cleris ceded her place to Mavi Assonfack.

Goalkeeper Lauresse Mafogue stayed focused throughout the second segment, as she saved her side on several occasions.

Vision sport will now return home to Bamenda, where they will play their last three games of the season, against CaΓ―man, Renaissance women and Renaissance Athletic.
