Foncha Street FC of Bamenda have recorded their 4th draw of the season and the first at home for the season. They were held at home by Leopard Sportive of Douala in a highly contested match where Foncha Street FC squandered many scoring opportunities in the first half.


The home team Foncha Street FC started the match on a good footing as they created three scoring opportunities in the first ten minutes of the match.

Njibero Durrell’s 5th minute header was saved by goalkeeper Gilles Emmanuel Mba and the resulting shot from Brahim Nsoyuri Linyuy went inches off target. At the 8th minute of play, a Brilliant Awahmukala free kick went straight to goalkeeper Gilles Emmanuel Mba.

Leopard FC will then mount pressure on Foncha Street FC but all attempts were neutralized by the defense line of Foncha Street FC.

At the 39th minute of play, a cross from Brahim Nsoyuri Linyuy was well headed by Godwin Cletus Ternemba but the goalpost prevented Foncha Street FC from taking the lead.

The lone scoring opportunity of the half for Leopard FC came at the 41st minute play but goalkeeper Shaga Berinyuy Shang was well placed to keep the attacker at bay.

The match will end zero all at the end of the first half.


The second half started with no change for both teams.

At the 56th minute, coach Anumewa Frankline of Foncha Street FC went for more attacking option as he brought in Jean Claude Laimo Serkwi and Sylvester Shey Mbah in place of Awallu Sale Mohammadu and Godwin Cletus Ternemba while coach Emmanuel Likomba brought in Marius Peguy Selema.

All attempts from both teams especially Foncha Street FC were neutralized by the defenders of Leopard Sportive of Douala.
