New stars of Douala has completed the signing of experienced forward, Landry Ntankeu Tchatchet, on a one season deal.

The 27_year_old is joining New stars as a free agent, after spells in several clubs across Africa.

Born on April 9, 1992, the 1m83 center forward is coming back to his former club, as part of the massive recruitment plan laid out by president Faustin Domkeu. Landry Ntankeu Tchatchet played for New stars between 2012 to 2014, before joining ASM Oran of Algeria. In January 2015, he completed a switch to Angola, where he joined CR Caala. After spending close to three seasons with Caala, he switched to Progresso, still in Angola.

Ntankeu’s football journey took him to TP Mazembe in August 2018, but by January 2019, he was back in Algeria, where he joined Na Hussein Dey. Since July 1, 2019, he has been a free agent, and now joins New stars that has been busy in the transfer market.

Landry Ntankeu Tchatchet’s experience over the continent, will be of utmost importance to New stars, as he can also adapt to the offensive midfield role.
