Foncha Street FC of Bamenda has suffered a 1#2 home defeat to Renaissance of Ngoumou, in a day 23 game of the Cameroon league two championship.
It took Foncha street just 78 seconds after kick off to raise the curtains, when Vofack Bright’s cross from the left, met Laimo’s head, as he directed the ball towards Kongnyuy Jude. The later in turn fired a shot towards goal, but it was Laimo who had the last touch of the ball, to put Foncha street in front (his eight goal of the season).
Foncha Street’s Captain, Jude Kongnyuy was booked at the 18th minute of the game for simulation, but coach Anicet Stephane Koung of Renaissance, carried out two substitutions before the break, with Rodrigue William Linga and Freddy Lionel Atemengue coming in for Eric Mefoe and Lionel Towa respectively.
Renaissance threatened in the last quarter of the first half, through Kevin Prince Milla, but Foncha Street’s back three of Germain Ngangni, Aristie Ngwa and Abong Ivan, stood tall, as Foncha street went to the break with a one goal lead.
