Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda has their brilliant run of results at home, with a 2#0 bashing of Canon Sportive of yaounde, on match day 25.

A vigilant Goalkeeper Eric Valentine Lebogo of Canon, made superb saves in the opening five minutes of the game, to keep Emmanuel Regis Tongua’s left footed strike out of bay, before stopping Ngong Neville in a one on one.

Canon’s defense, marshalled by captain Romuald Ndzana and Junior Ngede Ngede, worked tiredlessly to keep the Kpa_Kum in the game, but all they could do was to hold the home side to a goalless first half.

YOSA’s first substitution of the game saw coach Nkabyo Martin bringing in Yuh Moses in the place of Jonathan Mkpume.

It took YOSA just two Second half minutes to take the lead, when when goalkeeper Eric Valentine Lebogo turned Ngong Neville’s free kick into his own net.

Coach Bertrand Ngougni brought in Yannick Tagne Wambo in the place of Christian Onguene, shortly before Oumara Khadtab was booked for his hard tackle on Yuh Moses.

The 70th minute was the turning point of the game, when Yuh Moses picked out Thierry Roland Ngalle with an exquisite pass, as the latter fired YOSA two goals up.

The closest Canon came, was Ndzana hitting the woodworks at the 74th minute.

A comfortable 2#0 win, which extends YOSA’s excellent home form. Out 10 victories record the league this season, eight of them have come at home, with wins against Stade Renard, Feutcheu, Union, Bamboutos, Dragon, PWD, Avion and Canon. Their only two away wins have been against Canon and Eding Sports.

22 of YOSA’s 35 league goals have also been scored on home turf. Coach Nkabyo Martin and his boys have succeeded in making their home ground a slaughter house for opponents, though out of home they will to add a little touch on their away form.
