A Cameroon’s refereeing trio has been selected by the Confederation of African football CAF, to handle Senegal’s last group B game against the Flames of Malawi.
Both the Flames and the Teranga lions needs a win in that game, to confirm their places in the eighth final of the 33rd edition of the Africa Nations Cup ongoing in Cameroon.
A Cameroonian refereeing trio headed by 38_year_old Ngwa Blaise Yuven, has been picked handle that fixture.
Blaise will be assisted Elvis Guy Noupue, and Carine Atezambong Fomo. The fourth official for that game is Ghana’s Daniel Ayi Laryea.
The indomitable lions/Liones of the whistle, have featured already in the competition. Ngwa Blaise was fourth official in Gambia’s one nil win over Mauritania in Limbe last week, why Carine Atezambong and Elvis Noupue, all featured as assistant referees in that game.
Carine participated in the African Nations Championship earlier this year, was assistant referee in multiple FIFA World Cup qualifiers plus was a part of the officiating team in the maiden edition of the Women’s CAF Champions League last month.
Blaise took charge of multiple games in the 2019 Under-17 African Cup of Nations, was part of the officiating team of the Under-20 version of the competition and has been very involved in multiple FIFA World Cup qualifiers and CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup games.
During the previous edition of the African Cup of Nations Tournament in Egypt, a trio of Cameroon officials were in charge of the final between Algeria and Senegal
The Senegal versus Malawi game will take place at the Bafoussam Omnisport Stadium on Tuesday, as from 5pm local time.
