Real Betis forward Michaela Abam has become the 15th Lionesses to join the camp of Cameroon players out in the Ethiopian city of Bahirdar as the team continued to prepare for their first game in the Tokyo 2020 Qualifiers.
Abam arrived the Lionesses base this morning exactly 24 hours after the first contingent of players enter camp making her the second player based abroad to join camp following Braga’s Machia Machia Farida.
Coach Alain Djeumfa therefore had 15 girs to work in training on Monday at the Bahir Dar International Annex Stadium.
The 4 remaining players including captain Aboudi Ouguene are expected in camp between Tuesday and Sunday morning.
It is the first time the 22 year old US born Cameroonian striker is camping for a qualifier game since opting for Cameroon in October 2018.
