Bassogog celebrating goal

Cameroonian forward Christian Bassogog, 23 has improved his goal tally for the season with a 58th minute strike in a day 25 Chinese Super League game involving his side Hernan Jianye and Hebei CFFC.

Bassogog scored Hernan ‘s 4th goal through a right footed shot in the 57th minute of the game thanks to an assists from Fernando Karanga to make it 4 nil after,goals from goals from Tim Chow in the 11th minute, Shangyuan Wang in the 20th minutes and another goal from Zhuoyi Feng in the 57th minutes had given Hernan a comfortable 3 nil lead before Bassogog made it 4 in the 58th minute.

Zhipeng Jiang got one back for Hebei but Hernan held on the score for all 3 points on offer on the day.

The forward’s goal is the 5th this season as Hebei looked so inferior to their host on the day.

The Cameroonian speedstar now has 5 goals and 3 assists to his name in 19 of his club’s 25 league matches this season.

His compatriots and Hernan’s lead scorer this season, Franck Ohandza wasn’t involved in this one.

Hernan moves up to the 8th position on the log with 30 points and next week they will be on the road road to challenge Shanghai SIPG.
