The head coach of Options Sports Academy of Limbe, Daniel Walinjom has told that his side will approach opponents in the 2020 National challenge with keen attention on the quality of the opponents.

Speaking at the Tiko town Green Stadium after his side’s 5-4 victory against HO Academy in the last playoffs game, the gaffer praised his players and hinted on his sides next move.

“I want to congratulate my boys today, we played to instructions. Our plan was to prevent our opponents from putting passes together and we succeeded in doing so”.

HO Academy didn’t look like the all attacking side with 8 goals scored in their previous three cup games.

They registered just three shots on target in 90 minutes,their lowest return in a competitive game this season.

Despite the praises on his team for keeping his instructions, coach Walinjom lamented on his side’s finishing in the game.

“Having defended as well as we did and frustrated our opponents, we weren’t at our best when it comes to finishing. We missed so many chances. We have to go back and work on that”

For the fourth season running, coach Daniel Walinjom will appear in the 32nd final of the competition having done so for three consecutive seasons with Union Sportive of Douala.

“I participated in this competition with my former club for three consecutive years,so I have an idea of what to do. Its about a game plan, we will have a game plan for each game and hope they implement it and go as far as God wants in each game”:coach Walinjom concluded.

Options Sports Academy will make their debut in the 32nd final of the 2020 cup of Cameroon.

The Limbe-based club has grown on and off the pitch with an impressive following barely a year into their existence.

Options Sports Academy will know their opponents once the national office of the Cameroon football federation does the pairings
