The journey to the 2020 national challenge Cup of Cameroon began this weekend for Southwest clubs seeking the chance to represent the region in this yearโ€™s cup of Cameroon competition.

In the first game, NQSA needed penalty shoot out to get University of Buea off their way after the game had ended zero all in regulation play.

NQSA converted three of their penalties while UB converted just one of theirs as their Cup journey ended just after it began.

In the second game, Best Stars Academy led thanks to a Ngulle Luiz penalty but Mount Cameroon equalized and went on to win by 5 successful penalties to 4.

Tiko United FC narrowly edged Little Foot FC in a game of missed chances which was settled by a wonder strike from captain Kimbi Marcel.

Buea United displayed a 5 stars performance recording a 5-1 victory over EEMSA 22 while HO punished Dynamic by three goals to nil.

Victoria United, Options Sports had a 2 nil win while ISOHSA and needed penalties to go through.

CINYODEV on their part repeated their performance of last year;they knocked out favourites LIFCA to seal their place in the next round of the competition.
